SciTec, a subsidiary of Firefly Aerospace, seeks a Senior Staff/Senior Systems Engineer to design, integrate, and certify core capabilities for national defense. You will model and simulate sensor data for Missile Warning, Missile Defense, and Battlespace Awareness within an Agile team of scientists, engineers, and developers.
The ideal candidate has strong IEEE 15288-aligned systems engineering discipline, interprets complex standards, and translates requirements into actionable guidance.

We are seeking a Senior Staff/Senior Systems Engineer to support the design, integration, and certification of core capabilities for National defense. You will work within a fast-paced team delivering software modeling and simulation of complex sensor data for Missile Warning, Missile Defense, Battlespace Awareness, and Technical Intelligence. You will implement model-based systems engineering and testing processes in support of a dynamic Agile software development program consisting of Scientists, Engineers, and Developers.
The ideal candidate brings strong systems engineering discipline aligned with IEEE 15288, experience interpreting complex standards, and the ability to translate requirements into actionable technical guidance.

The pay range for this position is $127,000 - $193,000 / year. SciTec considers several factors when extending an offer of employment, including but not limited to the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills. This is not a guarantee of compensation.
