Job summary

Farmers Mutual Hail Insurance Company is seeking a QA Test Analyst to evaluate and test software programs on small initiatives, ensuring the system functions according to specifications and identifying discrepancies.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of software testing or user acceptance testing experience.
• 1+ years of experience in automation tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or Computer Science preferred (Associate’s degree required).

Responsibilities

• Works with QA testers and development team to understand requirements, scope, and objectives for new or modified functionality.
• Assists in development of test plans for components and enhancements.
• Creates or updates test scripts based on business requirements and specifications.
• Maintains test suite to cover automated smoke, regression and functional tests.
• Executes scripts to ensure compliance with requirements and documents results in bug-tracking system.
• Troubleshoots/testing issues with QA team or developers.
• Reports outcomes and test conditions within test cases and tools.
