Position Overview

The QA Analyst Intern supports the software quality assurance process by assisting with manual testing, documentation, and defect validation. This role is designed for students or early‑career candidates who want hands‑on experience in software testing while learning industry best practices.

Essential Duties and Accountabilities
  • Execute manual test cases under guidance from senior QA or engineering staff
  • Assist in validating new features, bug fixes, and integrations
  • Identify, document, and retest software defects with clear reproduction steps
  • Help maintain test documentation, including checklists and test cases
  • Participate in UAT and regression testing activities
  • Validate basic data accuracy through UI checks or simple queries
  • Learn and follow established QA processes and standards
  • Collaborate with developers and analysts during testing cycles
Qualification Requirements
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
  • Basic understanding of software development concepts
  • Strong attention to detail and logical problem‑solving skills
  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • Ability to follow instructions and ask questions when unclear
  • Coursework or exposure to software testing or QA concepts is a PLUS
  • Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps) is a PLUS
  • Basic understanding of web applications or APIs is a PLUS
  • Introductory knowledge of SQL or data concepts is a PLUS
  • Experience with Agile or Kanban environments (academic or internship) is a PLUS

Physical Demands and Environmental Conditions
