Job summary

Huntsville Hospital is seeking a role focused on monitoring and enforcing Quality systems within the Sterile Process Department (SPD). The incumbent will perform inspections and audits of equipment and processes, feeding back on performance to Instrumentation Technicians and assisting in training program development across facilities.

Collaborating with the Instrumentation team, the role targets continuous improvement opportunities and adherence to quality standards within a major regional

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Certification: IAHCSMM Central Service Technician (or equivalent) within 1 year of hire.
• Experience: in manufacturing, surgical and/or sterile processing required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, verify, and execute the SPD quality systems.
• Inspect and audit equipment and processes for feedback to Instrumentation techs.
• Assist QA Manager in training development and execution across facilities.
• Collaborate with Instrumentation Techs to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
