Job summary

Victaulic is hiring a QA Technician at our Utah facility. You will inspect raw materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and engineering drawings as part of the Quality team.

Responsibilities include performing dimensional verifications, coating inspections, and NCR/CAPA documentation, with tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Overtime/weekend work may be required; excellent attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings/blueprints.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections per plans and records.
• Visually inspect welds for cracks, spatter, and defects per specs.
• Verify dimensions against drawings and orders.
• Inspect and release raw materials, components, and finished products.
• Operate measurement tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Prepare NCRs and assist CAPA with root-cause analysis.
• Support calibration of inspection instruments and internal audits.
• Assist SPC data collection and CMM operations where applicable.
