Job summary

Victaulic’s Utah facility is seeking a QA Technician to join the Quality team. You will inspect raw materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards, customer specifications, and engineering drawings.

You will operate measurement equipment, prepare NCRs, assist CAPA, and support ISO 9001 audits. The role requires a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic computer literacy including Microsoft Office.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, detail oriented, and self-motivated.
• Willingness to perform testing such as dye-penetrant, magnetic particle, and dry film thickness.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final product inspections per established plans; verify dimensions and coatings.
• Visually inspect welded joints for defects per ES1124 and specs.
• Verify finished product dimensions against drawings and orders.
• Inspect and release received materials and components per drawings and MTRs.
• Operate measurement equipment (calipers, gauges, CMM where applicable).
• Prepare NCRs and assist CAPA with root-cause analysis.
