Job summary

Simmons Animal Nutrition, Inc is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to conduct routine and non-routine analysis of raw materials, in-process, and finished products to maintain quality and reliability.

The role requires a high school diploma, ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English, and the capacity to lift up to 55 lbs in a wet, cold environment while wearing PPE. On-site location with standard production duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Must be able to pass company issued Quality Assurance test.
• Willingness to work in a wet, cold environment and to wear PPE as required.

Responsibilities

• Test and inspect products at various stages of the production process.
• Collect, measure, and record sampling results to maintain quality records.
• Assist in implementing total quality management and train others as needed.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to policy and process improvements.
• Maintain familiarity with Simmons operating systems and company policies.
