Switch is seeking a QA Technician II to help maintain the quality, appearance, and readiness of Switch facilities across interior and exterior spaces. This hands-on role performs quality inspections, facility maintenance, light construction, and corrective work.

You will identify conditions not meeting established standards, complete or coordinate corrective work, and verify that work is finished properly. You will also support vendors, customers, and internal teams while helping keep facilities

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two or more years in construction, production, facilities, mechanical maintenance, or related field.
• Experience with facility maintenance or light construction.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify work that does not meet standards.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to develop and carry out corrective actions for routine facility issues.
• Basic computer skills including email, Outlook, and internal communications.
• Clear verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Working knowledge of safety practices related to tools, materials, and chemicals.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine quality assurance inspections and document findings for the appropriate support teams.
• Identify facility conditions that do not meet established standards and complete or coordinate corrective actions.
• Perform general facility maintenance and light construction work.
• Complete drywall repair, texturing, painting, floor tile replacement, and similar finish work.
• Perform minor lighting maintenance, including bulb, fixture, and ballast replacement where appropriate.
• Maintain floors and other interior and exterior facility areas.
• Escort vendors performing maintenance or repair work and verify completed work meets requirements.
• Coordinate access to customer cage areas when required.
• Perform T-SCIF cleaning and prepare QA items for new T-SCIF spaces.
• Label, secure, and deliver customer totes.
• Install door signs, wire racks, plenum rugs, and other facility items.
• Operate the Hotsy power washer and other approved tools and equipment.
• Schedule and prioritize multiple assigned maintenance and QA activities.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Communicate clearly with customers, vendors, and Switch team members.
• Complete required LMS training and continue developing job-related skills.
