Job summary

SK Food Group is seeking a QA Tech II in Groveport, OH for full-time, hourly employment. The role focuses on measuring, testing, and reporting results to ensure products meet specifications and GMPs are followed. You will perform in-line audits, coordinate with production on regulatory issues, and help train incoming QA technicians.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma with 1–2 years of related experience; a Bachelor's degree is preferred. HACCP certification is a plus.

• HACCP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect measurements, test and report results to ensure specification ranges.
• Ensure sandwiches are built to specification and conduct in-line audits.
• Coordinate with production on regulatory and quality issues; document corrective actions.
• Follow GMPs and assess facility sanitary compliance.
• Collect weights and measurements of finished goods; ensure package integrity.
• Assist with pre-operational inspections and ATP swabs; support pilots and data collection.

We are looking for a QA Tech II

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collect measurements, test and report results on various components to ensure they fall within specification ranges.
• Ensure that sandwiches are being built to specification.
• Conduct in line audits/product assessments for specification compliance on food products.
• Coordinate with production on regulatory and quality issues and document corrective actions.
• Ensure GMPs are being followed.
• Assess facility for sanitary compliance.
• Collect weights and measurements of finished good products.
• Ensure package integrity and accuracy.
• Follow the HACCP Plan to ensure food safety.
• Coordinate with production on regulatory and quality issues and document corrective actions.
• Assist with training incoming QA technicians.
• Demonstrate ability to perform pre-operational inspection and ATP swabs.
• Assist in pilot runs and data collection as needed.
• Ensure package integrity and accuracy.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma, or equivalent, and 1-2 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Bachelor's Degree in scientific field preferred.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS

• HACCP certification preferred.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to use iPad/tablet.
• Ability to operate standard lab equipment.
• Excellent time management and task prioritization abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Be detailed and organized.
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs),
• Knowledge of Food Safety fundamentals is desirable.
• Strong attention to detail; data and sample collection, accuracy in paperwork.
• Good decision making and reasoning skills.
• Ability to interpret regulations and product specifications.
• Ability to interact with all levels of organization.
