Job summary

Alphia in the United States is seeking a Level I QA Technician who will support sampling, testing and quality control across processing and packaging lines. You will operate NIR, Aw meter and other analytical instruments, enter data into IQS, and participate in GMP and HACCP compliance.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Willing to work in a team environment.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to receive and provide instructions positively.

Responsibilities

Operate analytical instruments (NIR, Aw meter, CompuTrac moisture analyzer, calipers, LECO, lab scales, vacuum chamber, thermometers).
Perform in-process sampling and testing for Processing or Packaging areas.
Place materials on Hold in X3 and generate Hold reports.
Enter data from routine tests into IQS software.
Follow GMP and HACCP requirements; ensure food safety and sanitation.
Verify metal detectors and magnets in area of responsibility.
Assist with product changeover cleaning and inspections prior to startup.
Pull samples for testing and product release as required.
Communicate results and quality concerns to operators and shift supervisor.
