Bell & Evans is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for a 3rd shift to support food safety and quality systems. The role involves monitoring, documenting, and enforcing policies while training team members and taking corrective action when needed.
Responsibilities include pre-operational inspections, process control monitoring, sample collection for testing, data analysis for continuous improvement, and audits to ensure product specifications. Strong GMP/SOP familiarity is expected.
The Quality Assurance Technician is a critical part of the plants food safety and quality system who is responsible for monitoring, documenting, and enforcing policies in addition to training key team members and taking critical corrective action when required.
The technician role is a very hand on, highly interactive role in a fast paced, ever changing production environment. The ability to quickly assess risk, lead a team to a decision point and ensure plans are executed are critical skills required to perform this role.
1-year of experience in a Quality assurance role in a food manufacturing facility or college education in a related degree.
Ability to speak English, read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
