Quality Assurance & Food Safety - Souderton, Pennsylvania

QUALITY ASSURANCE TECH I - 1st SHIFT - SOUDERTON, PA
  • Monitor SOPs, SSOPs, and GMP compliance of associates; perform HACCP procedures to ensure compliance with federal regulations.
  • Perform pre-shipment inspections on products and trailers, including lifting and opening boxes, scanning, and printing labels.
  • Maintain contact with USDA and present records upon request.
  • Review records for accuracy and ensure accountability.
  • Assist QA supervision and management in data collection and investigations beyond regular technician responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with shipping and production teams to monitor product specifications and address deficiencies.
  • Propose solutions to problems and work independently for extended periods.
  • Oversee the implementation of food safety and quality procedures on the floor, report deficiencies, and correct them.
  • Extended walking and standing in cold/freezing environments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Work Hours

Work during production hours on the fabrication floor. Typical shifts are 8.5 hours or more, 5 to 6 days a week, with possible shift trades or additional hours based on operational needs.
