Job summary

Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to generate and report data to QC and manufacturing. The role involves inspecting materials, performing audits, and supporting process improvements on the first shift in Tulsa, OK.

You will work hands-on with metrology devices, analyze data for trends, and liaise with multiple departments to ensure compliance with ASTM, ISO, and industry standards.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent.
• Experience in QA in a high-volume manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience using SPC and data analysis techniques.

Responsibilities

• Work as a hands-on technician to improve manufacturing operations.
• Inspect parts/materials per drawings or specifications; check prints and setup sheets.
• Identify and quarantine potentially non-conforming material.
• Update spreadsheets and generate charts/graphs; perform plan-based audits.
• Conduct testing on coating specimens and maintain equipment; daily use of metrology devices.
• Perform root cause analysis and communicate findings with departments.
