Job summary

Marathon Staffing Group is seeking a QA Inspector to perform inspections, documentation, data entry and basic administrative duties in our Massachusetts operation.

You will maintain accurate records, support daily QA tasks, and coach floor staff on GMPs while ensuring products meet quality and food safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Basic knowledge of Excel and Word is required.
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills are essential.
• Accurate data entry and documentation are critical.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently are expected.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Complete QA inspections and document results.
• Enter data accurately and maintain records.
• Support daily QA department tasks and paperwork.
• Assist with cleaning and swabbing after procedures as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized QA lab and reports.

Job description

Position Summary

Responsible for performing QA inspections, documentation, data entry, and basic administrative duties. Maintains accurate record, completes quality checks, and assists with daily QA department task.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
• Ability to complete paperwork and data entry accurately.
• Good communication skills.
• Able to work independently
• Ability to speak, read and write English.

Duties

• Completing inspection and swabbing after cleanings (ATP/Allergen/etc.)
• Data entry. Must be proficient in excel
• Filing weekly Production documentation in the correct locations
• Organizing retains. Properly logging retain boxes when they are full and placing them on the correct pallets
• Maintain good housekeeping in QA Lab
• Sampling raw materials for micro testing
• Perform sanitation audits after cleaning has been completed
• Completing quality checks (coating percentage/temperature checks etc.)
• Coaching and monitoring employees on the floor to ensure they are following GMPs
• Isolate products that do not conform to quality or food safety standards and placing materials on hold.
• Interviewing Production and M&R personnel on weekly QA talking points
• Sending out end of shift e-mail reports

Additional Information

• Hours: 3rd shift 11 PM - 7:30 AM (hours will vary based on the needs of the business)
• Work Week: Monday-Friday (Saturday work as needed)
