Job description

We are currently seeking an exceptional QA Tech here at Incora.

The QA Tech is responsible for Quality Assurance activities associated with receiving inspection, labeling, storing, and shipping chemicals at the distribution centers. This position is required to ensure all products arrive with the necessary documentation, including test reports, process and raw material certifications, etc., to ensure compliance with customer-specific requirements and trackability, thereby avoiding non-conformance to the end user.

Key Activities will include:

  • Running canned and custom liability reports and presenting them to customer-facing teams.
  • Creating customer-specific root-cause analysis presentations regarding excess inventory and standardized SIOP customer metrics.
  • Assisting with data integrity, validation, reporting, and implementation across multiple ERP systems.
  • Tracking actions to drive accountability across multiple functions.

About You:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems such as ISO 9001, AS 9120 preferred. Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis and conduct thorough research.
  • Skills in utilizing inventory management systems for data entry, audits, and research are required.
  • Proven ability to respond to urgent requests from multiple sources and handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Ability to work well and provide quality service to internal customers.
  • Excellent customer service and professional communication skills across organizational levels.
  • Working knowledge of Wesco customers and products is required.

About the role:

  • Perform quality assurance reviews by verifying received materials and certifications for part traceability and document accuracy.
  • Utilize inventory management and client quality systems to note material information and discrepancies.
  • Review and assign shelf life and storage conditions based on specifications.
  • Release conforming materials for warehouse processing.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and communicate with procurement to resolve discrepancies.
  • Monitor storage temperature devices and respond to outliers/failures.
  • Support hazardous materials processing, including printing certifications and labels.
  • Ensure timely submission of reports and paperwork for internal and external review.
  • Coordinate sampling with external labs and assist in training team members.
  • Participate in meetings and training as required.
