Job summary

Airtech is seeking a Quality Assurance Technical Lead in Huntington Beach, CA to serve as the subject matter expert in chemistry, materials testing, and laboratory analysis. You will lead analytical testing, develop methods, and drive data-driven decisions to ensure product quality.

You will collaborate with QA, Production, and R&D, lead root cause investigations, and help with SOPs, training, and compliance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on lab or quality experience in a manufacturing or chemical environment.
• Strong background in analytical chemistry and material testing.
• Experience with root cause investigations and data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical expert for chemical and material testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
• Perform and oversee analytical testing using standard lab instrumentation and methods.
• Develop, validate, and improve laboratory test methods to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Lead root cause investigations for product nonconformances and process deviations.
• Coordinate with QA, Production, and Engineering for data-driven decisions and continuous improvement.
