Job summary

Lokar Inc in Knoxville, Tennessee is seeking a detail-oriented QA specialist to perform quality assurance tasks in a clean environment, inspecting and repairing components, sub-assemblies, finished products and incoming goods.

You will follow manufacturing directives, report issues to the QA Manager, keep work areas neat and organized, participate in cross-training, and handle multiple tasks with accuracy, safety, and efficiency in a standard 7:30 am to 4:00 pm schedule.

Qualifications

• QA experience and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Manufacturing experience also is desired.

• Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, or materials to QA Manager.

• Keep assembled product in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Cross training (Participate in both learning and teaching already known tasks/positions).
• Complete product repairs as necessary.
• Other duties and/or tasks may be assigned on an as needed basis.

We are looking for a skilled individual to Quality Assurance tasks in a clean environment. You will be inspecting/repairing components, sub-assemblies, finished products, and incoming products. This role is an integral part to the success of Lokar.

Scope of Position may include:

• Inspect and/or package all products according to manufacturer's directions and specifications.
• Inspect work tasks as indicated by work orders and production schedules.
• Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, or materials to QA Manager.
• Work in a safe and clean manner by complying with procedures, rules, and company policies.
• Keep assembled product in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Cross training (Participate in both learning and teaching already known tasks/positions).
• Complete product repairs as necessary.
• Other duties and/or tasks may be assigned on an as needed basis.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Past QA experience and strong attention to detail.
• Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 30 pounds as necessary.
• Ability to handle various tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently.
• Hand strength required for hand cutting tools and various fastening tools.
• Ability to prioritize, plan and execute.
• Manufacturing experience also is desired.
