Job summary

Wagstaff is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to support the AT Quality team by troubleshooting issues that slow inspection activities. You will collaborate with stakeholders to resolve problems and collect data for process improvement.

The role focuses on providing a first response to quality requests, using MES to drive resolutions, and handing off complex issues to Quality Management as needed. Some overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• AA or AS in Engineering Technological field or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of quality management systems (ISO9001, AS9100, NQA-1) and basic quality tools.
• Understanding of inspection disciplines (weld, NDT, dimensional).
• Ability to read and extract information from technical drawings and specs.
• Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated first response to quality work-center requests.
• Determine level of involvement of stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Maintain issue resolution ownership and use MES for resolutions.
• Advise and hand off issues to Quality Management when appropriate.
• Redline quality planning documents and initiate NCRs.
• Participate in pre-release reviews and identify information gaps.
