Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor to oversee daily QA and food safety activities in a poultry processing facility. You will ensure compliance with USDA-FSIS, HACCP, SSOPs, and customer specifications while leading QA technicians and driving continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include supervising QA staff, verifying product specs, reviewing data, and ensuring readiness for customer, third-party, and regulatory audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Poultry Science, Biology, Microbiology, QA or related field.
• 3-5 years of QA, food safety or regulatory compliance in food manufacturing.
• 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Poultry/meat processing or USDA-inspected manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily QA and food safety activities in a poultry facility.
• Ensure compliance with USDA-FSIS regulations, HACCP, SSOPs, GMPs, and customer specs.
• Lead QA technicians and monitor production processes to drive quality.
• Investigate and document food safety incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Support USDA inspections and address regulatory concerns promptly.
• Maintain readiness for customer, third-party, and regulatory audits.
• Verify product specs, weights, labeling, packaging and appearance.
• Review quality data and identify trends requiring corrective actions.
• Monitor microbiological and product testing programs.
• Assist with product holds, releases, and disposition decisions.
