Job summary

South Jersey Industries (SJI) is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor to lead audits and compliance reviews of work by company personnel and contractors. The role ensures adherence to standards, regulatory requirements, and continuous improvement across construction and operations.

You will supervise QA staff, coordinate with internal teams and contractors, and drive process excellence, documentation quality, and policy implementation to support safe, reliable energy delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 5+ years in QA in natural gas or related industry.
• Minimum 1 year of team lead/coaching experience.
• Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day QA activities and personnel.
• Prioritize, assign, and monitor audits and reviews.
• Ensure audits and projects are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Coordinate with internal departments and contractors to meet quality objectives.
• Coach team members on task execution and quality expectations.
• Support development and implementation of QA policies and procedures.
• Oversee supplier/vendor QA, process excellence, and quality reviews.
• Review work to verify quality and regulatory compliance.
• Use analysis to evaluate issues and propose practical solutions.
• Assist Standards and Training with policy development.
