Job summary

LiDestri Food and Drink is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor to ensure product quality and to support the QA Manager. You will oversee technicians, perform microbiological testing, and maintain SQF standards while coordinating with production lines to sustain safety and compliance.

The role requires experience in food/pharma manufacturing, strong data recording, and effective team leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years quality experience in food/pharma manufacturing; 2+ years supervisory experience.
• Strong numerical and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Good communication across all levels of management and staff.
• Experience with lab equipment and documentation timing.
• Familiarity with Oracle and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all products meet customer and product requirements.
• Maintain SQF standards in work areas and equipment.
• Oversee QA technicians and address quality concerns.
• Perform microbiological testing and batch quality checks.
• Monitor fillers, weights, labeling, and pasteurizer temps.
• Verify codes, conduct visual checks and record results.
• Prepare holds and recalls as required.
• Coordinate with suppliers on quality issues.
• Train and develop staff; manage schedules and coverage.
