Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; accredited degree preferred.
• 2+ years QA experience in manufacturing; bakery/food/beverage preferred.
• 2 years supervisory or 4 years as lead; equivalent combinations considered.
• Knowledge of HACCP and Food Safety Programs; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Keep Q.A. Manager informed of departmental operations.
• Supervise and direct departmental employees.
• Supervise application of work instructions and specs.
• Facilitate department schedules and control overtime.
• Assist in maintaining Q.A. laboratory installations.
• Help control expenses to balance budget.
• Monitor flour quality throughout production stages.
• Direct Q.A. SAP computer applications.
• Verify QA equipment functionality and calibrations.
• Audit food safety and HACCP controls.
