Confidential Beverage Manufacturer in the Silver Spring area is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor for 1st shift. The role leads QA personnel on the lab and production floor, ensuring quality, food safety, and regulatory compliance while coaching the team and supporting audits.

Responsibilities include data review, trend analysis, and driving continuous improvement projects to maintain consistent product quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or comparable college or technical education in biology, chemistry, food science, health sciences, or related discipline.
• Strong analytical, math, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication, organization, and team development abilities.

Responsabilités

• Lead QA personnel, organize daily activities, and communicate expectations for quality, safety, and performance.
• Develop team members through training, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Partner with Production and other departments to resolve quality concerns and support food safety practices.
• Oversee assigned quality management programs, including documentation, training, and internal audits.
• Maintain compliance with product specifications, regulatory requirements, customer expectations, and certification standards.
• Review laboratory data for accuracy, investigate exceptions, and identify trends requiring corrective action.
• Recommend process improvements based on testing results and quality performance.
• Prepare for and assist with regulatory, certification, customer, and internal audits.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts that strengthen quality and customer satisfaction.
