Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. (GDIT) is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Specialist/Applications Tester to support NIH/NIAID projects in Rockville, MD. You’ll test configurations, coordinate user acceptance testing, and drive quality across Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint, and Azure environments.

The role requires 3+ years in software testing, on-site work in Rockville or Bethesda, and the ability to obtain Public Trust clearance. Candidates should be prepared for <10% travel and to collaborate with federal teams on quality standards and release readiness.

Qualifications

• Education: BA/BS/MS in Computer Science or IT related field.
• 3+ years of related experience.
• Experience with enterprise software development including UAT, defect tracking, test tool development and usage.
• Security clearance: Ability to obtain Public Trust.
• On-site work in Rockville, MD with travel <10% to other sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead/Manage/Support software and application testing including test plan design, scenarios, scripts and procedures.
• Collaborate with federal teams to develop standards and assess product quality.
• Drive testing standards and monitor software performance.
• Develop and utilize automated testing tools and document test results.
