Job summary

Programmers.io is seeking a QA professional with strong experience in functional testing across Mainframe, web applications, and DB2 databases. The role focuses on test strategy, design, and execution, with expectations for offshore coordination and onsite stakeholder management.

Ideal candidates will have exposure to test automation using Selenium and Python, and domain knowledge in Custody and capital markets. Experience with JIRA is beneficial in a fast-paced, Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in QA (Functional) and test strategy/design and execution across Mainframe, web, and DB2 databases.
• Experience in functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Experience coordinating offshore teams and managing onsite stakeholders.
• Nice to have test automation skills with Selenium and Python.
• Domain knowledge of Custody and capital markets.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all aspects of software testing, including test design, execution, and support.
• Maintain high standards for software quality control.
• Apply agile methodologies to streamline testing processes.
• Highlight risks to stakeholders, suggest value adds, and raise well-structured issues.
• Ability to multi-task and take initiative when needed.
