Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a QA Specialist to support the project Quality Management System for building and architectural construction. You will execute inspections, verify compliance with drawings and codes, and maintain quality records to support contract requirements.

The role reports to the Buildings QA Manager within the project QA team and may involve relocation to Abilene, TX or Point Pleasant, WV as needed to support project needs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in quality assurance, quality control, or construction.
• Data center experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of commercial building systems.
• Ability to interpret drawings and codes.
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inspections and testing across interior walls, MEP rough-ins, finishes, roofing, PEMB, windows/glazing, and firestopping systems.
• Assist with subcontractor quality oversight and verification of completed work.
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports, test records, and quality documentation.
• Identify, document, and track nonconformances through resolution.
• Review material receiving, subcontractor and supplier documentation.
• Communicate quality issues, results, and status to the Quality Manager and project team.
