Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist for building, commercial, and architectural construction. The role supports the project Quality Management System, conducting inspections, verifying compliance, and maintaining quality records under the Buildings QA Manager.

Location includes Point Pleasant, WV, with relocation as needed. The candidate will work across multiple districts, collaborating with subcontractors and project teams to ensure adherence to contract documents and codes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in QA/QC or construction on commercial projects.
• Data center construction experience preferred.
• Ability to read drawings, specs and building codes; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inspections and testing aligned with project schedule for interior walls, MEP rough-ins, finishes, roofing, PEMB, windows, and firestopping systems.
• Assist with subcontractor quality oversight and verify conformance to drawings, specs, and codes.
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports, test records, and quality docs.
• Identify, document and track nonconformances through resolution per requirements.
• Review material receiving, subcontractor and supplier docs and readiness for install.
• Communicate quality issues and status to QA Manager and project team.
