Job summary

Kiewit Industrial District is seeking a QA Specialist to support the project Quality Management System for building and architectural construction. You will execute inspections, verify compliance, and maintain quality documentation to ensure work meets contract documents, codes, and company standards.

You will report to the Buildings QA Manager as part of the project QA team and may relocate to Abilene, Texas or Point Pleasant, WV as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in QA/QC or construction on commercial buildings.
• Data center construction experience strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of structural, envelope, finishes, fire/life safety, HVAC, and interior systems.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specs, and building codes.
• Strong communication and influence with field and project teams.
• Experience with commissioning or closeout processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inspections and testing to align with project schedule for various scopes.
• Assist with subcontractor quality oversight and verification of completed work.
• Prepare and maintain accurate inspection reports and test records.
• Identify, document, and track nonconformances through resolution.
• Review material receiving, subcontractor and supplier documentation for compliance.
• Communicate quality issues and status to the Quality Manager and project team.
