Job summary

iFIT is seeking a QA Software Tester in Logan, UT to help test major software initiatives across tablet and mobile platforms. You will work with cross-functional teams to support global feature rollouts, develop test plans, and log defects using JIRA/TestRail.

The role requires 1–3 years in software testing, familiarity with QA methodologies, and strong communication. Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Pay range is $21–$24 per hour.

Qualifications

1-3 years of experience in software testing or QA role.
Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
Strong understanding of QA methodologies and SDLC.
Solid communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality results.
Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Design, write, and execute test plans, test cases, and test runs for moderately complex features.
Identify, log, and clearly communicate defects using JIRA and TestRail.
Perform regression, black box, smoke, and interface testing.
Analyze test results, document findings, and follow through to issue resolution.
Collaborate with developers to isolate bugs and validate fixes.
Provide input on test coverage and risk areas.
Raise concerns about ambiguous requirements and seek clarification.
Support testing of hardware/software interactions when applicable.
Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and tools.
