IEX is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test Intern to join the QA Technology team in New York. You’ll build and improve tooling to test the IEX Exchange, learning order types, queue priority, and equities execution as you contribute across the platform.

No prior finance experience is required; an appetite to dive deep into programming and learn on the job is essential. This is a NY-based internship with potential for bonus and equity.

Formación

• Proficient in Java; scripting, building, deploying in Linux environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Collaborative team player able to communicate across business lines.

Responsabilidades

• Learn how we interact with the IEX Exchange using our existing platform.
• Develop dashboards and tooling to help enhance the platform – full-stack project.
• Explore enhancements based on platform view; contribute new ideas.
• Work with Core Development, Data Engineering, Market Ops, SRE, BD, and Regulatory teams to gather requirements.
