Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of insurance carrier procedures.
• Knowledge of and an analytical understanding of EDI, ERA, EFT’s.
• 2+ years of medical billing or rev cycle experience (payments & claims).

Responsibilities

• Advocate for patients and providers to insurance companies to ensure timely approvals.
• Maintain accurate records of authorization requests, approvals, denials, and related communications.
• Provide guidance to sales on insurance authorization processes and requirements.
