Job summary

KabaFusion is seeking an Intake Representative to join our Worcester team. This role processes referrals and enrolls patients on service, handling commercial, private and government insurances for chronic therapies such as IVIg or SCIg.

You will work with other departments to ensure exceptional patient care and accurate intake paperwork. Key tasks include initiating intake, verifying insurance and authorizations, completing start of care, and contacting patients regarding financial obligations.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of HCPC, ICD-10 and CPT codes.
• At least 2 years intake experience including eligibility and authorization.

Responsibilities

• Initiates intake process, gathers relevant data from referral sources and completes intake paperwork.
• Verifies insurance eligibility and obtains authorizations when necessary.
• Completes start of care paperwork.
• Contacts patients to confirm information and notify them of financial obligations.

Skills

Knowledge of HCPC ICD-10 CPT codes

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
