Job summary

Chase Corporation seeks a Quality Assurance/Quality Control leader to maintain the IATF16949 and ISO9001 compliant management system across the division. You will ensure all manufactured products meet stringent customer and company specifications, driving reliability through robust QA/QC programs.

The role requires staffing and training QA/QC personnel, implementing analytical test protocols, and guiding continuous improvements to ERP and related quality systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of IATF 16949 experience in a manufacturing setting is required.
• At least five years experience leading the QA/QC function in a laboratory environment is desired.
• Domain knowledge in analytical chemistry is desirable.
• Expert skills in Minitab is desired.

Responsibilities

• Ensures that product quality is maintained through application of analytical test protocols on constituent materials.
• Leads the process of inspection of products to proactively disposition product to ensure qualified materials are available to production.
• Ensure plans, programs and analytical chemistry capabilities are linked with and support the overall objectives of the Quality organization.
• Identifies and reports quality problems or trends based on SPC data.
• Recommends or implements the appropriate corrective action to quality problems, with the aid of Manufacturing, Engineering, Product Development, Purchasing, etc.
• Apply problem solving techniques (8D, 5-Why, FMEA, GR&R, etc.) and advanced statistical methods.
• Supports the ongoing implementation and continuous improvements to ERP system.
• Reviews all documentation related to product quality, such as test procedures and operation sheets, and approves as appropriate to ensure product quality.
• Writes necessary quality plans, PPAP's, procedures, work instructions and related quality system documentation.
• Is the liaison with R&D for new product implementation, current modifications and analytical procedure and equipment developments.
