Job summary

Bureau Veritas is seeking an on-site QA/QC representative to ensure quality tools are delivered on time for drilling and completions projects.

You will monitor DS-1, API specs, and industry standards, reading drawings and measuring parts to tight tolerances, while producing detailed reports and field documentation. The role requires strong communication and the ability to work in an on-call environment with periodic weekend time off.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of DS-1 and API specs and related industry standards.
• Ability to read, interpret, and enforce inspection and testing procedures.
• Ability to interpret drawings and schematics to enforce client requirements.
• Ability to measure dimensions with calipers/micrometers to 1/64 inch accuracy.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical computations and conversions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Word/Excel and report compilation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site QA/QC representative to ensure quality tools meet delivery specs.
• Operate in on-call environment with 2 weekends off per month.
• Monitor and enforce DS-1, API, and other standards during drilling/completions activities.
• Oversee inspection, assembly, and testing operations.
• Prepare detailed reports and field documents with findings and actions.
