Job summary

Southeast Steel Systems is seeking a hands-on QA/QC Specialist to embed quality into two manufacturing sites. You will work closely with production and engineering to prevent issues, own NCRs, and drive corrective actions across Adel, GA and Tampa, FL.

Ideal candidates will be hands-on on the shop floor, detail-focused, and capable of leading cross-functional quality initiatives and supplier quality programs. Regular travel between Adel and Tampa is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing QA/QC in a two-site environment.
• Strong ability to identify issues before they reach customers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key quality resource for Adel, GA and Tampa, FL operations.
• Develop and improve in-process and final inspection procedures across both plants.
• Inspect fabrication processes and verify tolerances, welds, coatings, and specs.
• Own nonconformance reports from identification to resolution.
• Lead corrective and preventive actions and track progress.
• Assist with supplier quality programs and vendor scorecards.
• Prepare quality charts and data for leadership reviews.
• Maintain ISO 9001 style quality management system.
