Job summary

Abbott in Temecula, CA seeks a QA/QC Inspector for a 12-month, 100% onsite assignment. Work involves visual, dimensional and functional inspections with data recording. Strong communication and basic MS Word/Excel skills are desired; overtime may be required.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; 0–2 years related experience preferred. Prior medical device inspection experience is a plus.

Job description

Title: QA/QC Inspector

Location: Temecula, California

Duration: 12 Month Assignment

100% Onsite

Shift: 5:00am - 2:30pm (every other Friday off)

Overtime availability needed

Responsibilities:

• Performs visual, dimensional, and functional inspection and testing according to documented policies and procedures.
• Records inspection and test data as prescribed by written instructions and procedures

Education/Experience: High School Diploma / 0-2 year’s related work experience preferred.

Top 5 skills:

• Previous experience in Quality performing inspection.
• Prior medical device component inspection experience preferred.
• Experience with optical measurement equipment, hand tools, gages, pressure and force gage testing.
• Training and experience with inspection sampling techniques.
• Good communication and computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
