Responsibilities

• Inspect QA/QC on production line to ensure products meet specs.
• Initial QA/QC checklist indicating acceptance at each phase.
• Notify supervisor of non-conformances and document actions.
• Coordinate and distribute QA/QC checklist and COMcheck to line.
• Monitor COMcheck tests for building components (plumbing, electrical, gas).
• Front end inspector ships units, performs final walk-through, collects BOL.
• Create punch lists for cosmetics not conforming; install data plates and labels.

Job purposeResponsible for inspecting each unit to assure product meets the established standards of quality including reliability, usability and performance.Duties and ResponsibilitiesConduct and monitor QA/QC inspections on the production line of each phase to ensure finished product meets approved documents and printsInitials the QA/QC checklist indicating acceptance during each construction phase If non-compliance is found, the inspector is to note which station on the QA/QC checklist and notify the Supervisor responsible for the non-conformance If still non-compliance, contact the Production and QA/QC ManagerCorrections are to be noted as completed on the QA/QC checklist by inspectorInspectors must verify that the non-conformance have been corrected prior to continued construction phasesResponsible for arranging and distributing QA/QC checklist and COMcheck to the production lineMonitor COMcheck (components of building), plumbing, electrical and gas system test and sign off list verified and completedConduct verifications on floor & center of the line Mate which includes: exterior front & rear wall, interior columns, interior cross walls, and floor spacingFollow all company's inspection reference procedures and protocols: approved designed package, building codes, and product/componentsCooperate with production team on all non-conformance and share information within the QA/QC departmentFront end inspector is responsible for shipping units, final walk thru and to make sure work order check off is signed out by driver and collects copy of BOL is received upon departureCreates Punch list that covers cosmetics which items not conformedInstalls labels and data plate on all unitsAdditional responsibilities may be assigned per QA/QC ManagerQualifications and EducationThese are the qualifications that are necessary for someone to be considered for the position.Qualifications include:Ability to read and study work orders and blue printsAbility to multi-task, be accurate and pay attention to detailProblem analysis, communication — verbal and written skillsData collection, attention to detail and decision makingMicrosoft Office and other databasesTechnical degree or certificationHigh School Diploma and 2+ years of Quality Assurance or Quality Control experience
