Judge Direct Placement is seeking a Quality Engineer to develop, implement, and oversee QA/QC programs focused on vendor quality compliance and inspection procedures. The role emphasizes root-cause investigations, CAPA, and adherence to codes for structural steel and piping components.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years in QA/QC within heavy manufacturing or industrial construction, with familiarity of AWS D1.1 and related standards. Travel up to 20% may be required during inspections.

Formación

• 5–7 years in QA/QC or heavy manufacturing/industrial construction.
• Strong knowledge of codes and standards for structural steel and piping.
• Experience with vendor quality audits and NCR/CAPA processes.
• Familiarity with AWS D1.1 and standards; CWI/NACE preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office and document management tools.

Responsabilidades

• Review vendor quality documentation for compliance with project specs.
• Design and implement inspection and testing procedures.
• Conduct quality audits at vendor facilities and project sites.
• Perform inspections of welding, bolting, dimensions, and alignment.
• Lead NCR investigations and implement CAPA actions.
• Report key metrics to executives and coordinate with teams.
