Job summary

Quest Global in Idaho is seeking a QA/QC Engineer to ensure materials, fabrication, installation, testing, and commissioning meet project specifications, client requirements, and ISO 9001 standards.

You will develop quality documentation, conduct inspections, coordinate with clients and third-party inspectors, and drive continuous improvement to deliver the highest quality outcomes on complex EPC projects in semiconductor and related sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Diploma in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• CSWIP 3.1 or AWS CWI welding inspector certification.
• Minimum 5 years of QA/QC in semiconductor, wastewater, construction or EPC environments.
• Experience in piping, structural steel, pressure vessels, fabrication and QC.
• Familiarity with NDT methods (VT, PT, MT, RT, UT).
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and relevant international codes (ASME, ASTM, AWS, API).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality documentation management.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Attend project and client meetings to review quality requirements and provide technical support.
• Prepare and implement project quality documentation such as ITPs, QCs, WPS, PQR, WQT/WPQ, test procedures, MRB and related documents.
• Develop and maintain project quality plans in accordance with client specifications and international standards.
• Coordinate inspections for materials, fabrication, welding, coating, testing, and final acceptance.
• Review material certificates, test reports, calibration certificates, and quality records for compliance.
• Plan, assign, and supervise QA/QC inspectors and provide training.
• Conduct internal quality audits and support external audits.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and codes (ASME, ASTM, AWS, API, ISO).
