Job summary

SunEnergySolar LLC seeks a Quality Control Manager to oversee QA and QC processes across PV installation projects. You will manage inspections, audits and ensure adherence to standards and codes while coordinating with project teams in field settings.

The role requires extensive travel between sites, with paperwork and admin tasks potentially done remotely. A strong background in quality management for solar projects and relevant certifications is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in quality management, preferably in solar or renewable energy.
• Certifications: ASQ Certified Auditor, ISO9001, Six Sigma, or PMP are highly desirable.
• OSHA 10, 30, Journeyman, etc. are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality plans that align with SunEnergySolar LLC’s Quality Management System, SESS SOPs and contract requirements for each project.
• Establish, maintain and improve quality systems to ensure compliance with standards, regulatory requirements and customer expectations.
• Monitor project quality through regular inspections and audits of ongoing and completed projects; ensure adherence to quality standards and codes.
• Manage quality control processes including testing, inspection, and evaluation of materials and systems on assigned projects.
• Train and support project teams on QA/QC practices andSunEnergySolar’s Quality Standards and guides.
• Document and report findings with detailed records of inspections, audits and corrective actions.
• Become proficient in CXAlloy for training teams and documenting quality matters on projects.
• Conduct formal audits on documentation and processes and ensure compliance.

PositionResponsibilitiesandDuties

• Documentandreportfindings:Maintaindetailedrecordsofqualityinspections,audits,andcorrectiveactions,andprepareregularreportsformanagementandclients.
• BecomeproficientintheuseofCXAlloysoftwaretotrainprojectteamsindocumentationprocessesandtoinitiate,reportanddocumentallqualitymattersonprojects.
• Conductfrequent,formalauditsondocumentationcompliance,reportingmethods,installationprocesses/proceduresandmethods,materialhandling,andvendorproductperformance.
• Continuousimprovement:Identifyopportunitiesforprocessimprovementsandimplementcorrectiveactionstoenhanceoverallprojectqualityandefficiency.
• Ensurecompliance:Stayup-to-datewithindustrystandards,regulatoryrequirements,andbestpracticesand.ensurethatallprojectsadheretorelevantguidelinesand regulations.

MinimumSkillsorExperienceRequirements

• Experience:Minimumof5yearsofexperienceinqualitymanagement,preferablyinthesolarorrenewableenergyindustry.
