Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. - DBA IES Electrical, in Chester, Virginia, seeks a full-time QA/QC Coordinator to support development and enforcement of quality standards across electrical construction projects.

You will assist in QA/QC documentation, inspections, audits, and corrective actions in collaboration with the Project Team. The role requires 2–5 years of electrical construction experience, a HS Diploma or GED, strong Excel/Word skills, and a proactive approach to identifying non-conformances.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years' electrical (industrial or commercial) construction experience.
• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Understanding of electrical construction standards, equipment, and installations.
• Data Center experience preferred.
• Electrical field experience preferred.
• Proficient in Excel/Word.
• Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.

Responsibilities

• Assists in development of Quality Assurance standards and continuous improvement evaluations and revisions.
• Identifies non-conformances and issues corrective/preventive action reports.
• Monitors corrective actions and verifies closure of quality issues.
• Maintains accurate QA/QC documentation and records.

• Ensures compliance with project specifications, company standards, and applicable codes/regulations.
• Performs onsite inspections of equipment and installations.
• Proactively works with Project Team to ensure all installations are correct the first time.
• Performs work onsite with the Project Team in performing all inspections and reports.
• Ensures compliance with all company and customer Safety policies and procedures.

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship or work authorization support. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without current or future need for employer sponsorship.

Job Summary

• Proficient knowledge of computer programs (EXCEL/WORD).
• Strong communication (written/verbal), problem-solving, analytical, organizational, and attention to detail skills.
• Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.
