Job summary

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or 5 years' experience.
• Ability to effectively communicate with employees, management and customers.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; ability to learn Metalware mainframe.
• Ability to read, write, and fluently speak English.
• Mathematical proficiency: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and coordinates product assurance programs to prevent or eliminate defects.
• Inspects products to ensure compliance with contract specifications.
• Examines supplier records and test results for quality.
• Stamp marks of approval or rejection and document findings.
• Review technical problems and suggest procedural improvements.
• Map processes to identify efficiencies in procedures.
• Collaborate with vendors to assess supplier quality and capacity.
