Job summary

PG Golf LLC, based in Sugar Land, Texas, seeks a QA Process Engineer to lead the startup of a new golf ball refinishing plant. You will develop quality systems and drive process improvements to ensure safe, efficient manufacturing.

This role requires 3–5 years in manufacturing operations management, strong problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration across Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and Quality.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Mechatronic Engineering.
• 3–5 years of progressive growth in manufacturing operations management.
• Advanced knowledge in paints and coatings manufacturing.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with cross-functional collaboration.
• Demonstrated ability to train, coach, and influence manufacturing personnel on quality standards.
• Experience leading continuous improvement projects to improve quality and equipment reliability.
• Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance and regulatory compliance.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours support.

Responsibilities

• Develop SOPs, work instructions, quality standards, inspection methods, and process control documentation.
• Develop and administer training programs for manufacturing personnel on process controls and SOPs.
• Perform routine inspections, audits, and testing of materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering to improve equipment reliability.
• Lead troubleshooting, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Establish inventory control for raw materials and consumables.
• Support process modifications, equipment installations, and new product introductions.
