Job summary

Voyant Beauty is seeking a QA Operations & Packaging Manager to lead quality control across manufacturing and packaging. You will oversee inspection of incoming materials, in-process controls, and finished goods, ensuring regulatory and customer standards are met.

Collaboration with Production, Engineering, and Regulatory teams is essential to drive improvements, prevent issues, and maintain audit readiness.

Qualifications

• 7-9 years Quality assurance or quality control experience in high-volume manufacturing (personal care, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, or similar regulated industry).
• 4-6 years Leadership or people management experience.
• Experience leading quality control strategies and audits.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality control strategies aligned with production schedules and inspection plans for materials, in-process, and finished goods.
• Lead QA staff development, training, cross-training, performance management, and succession planning.
• Partner with Production and Scheduling to minimize downtime related to quality issues and drive improvements.
• Establish and maintain SOPs and quality systems compliant with GMP, GDP, FDA, ISO and other regulations; lead internal and support external audits.
• Serve as SME during customer and regulatory audits and investigations.
• Lead root cause investigations and drive CAPA effectiveness.
• Monitor quality budgets including equipment and testing resources.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
