Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior QA Engineer to ensure the quality and performance of our applications across web, mobile, and API layers. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in manual and automated testing, performance benchmarking, and working in CI/CD environments. You will play a key role in improving test strategies, expanding automation coverage, and driving product quality through collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform functional (system, regression) and performance testing of APIs, web applications, and mobile apps.

• Develop and execute automated tests for REST APIs and web applications using tools like Selenium, JMeter, Gatling, or similar.

• Design, implement, and maintain test strategies, test plans, test case design, test data, execution reports, traceability matrices, defect logging, and final test reporting.

• Create and maintain test data, including database seeding, to meet test specifications.

• Analyze existing test coverage and identify opportunities for redesign, optimization, reusability, and improvements in performance.

• Design and execute performance tests, including load, stress, stability, latency, and endurance tests.

• Monitor system performance, generate metrics, identify bottlenecks, and suggest tuning parameters for optimal system performance.

• Work closely with development teams to analyze performance results and drive improvements.

• Participate in sprint planning and agile ceremonies, ensuring timely and high-quality project deliveries.

Qualifications & Experience:

• 5+ years of professional experience in software testing across the complete SDLC.

• Strong hands-on experience with automation and performance testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JMeter, Gatling, Grinder).

• Proficient in automated REST API testing.

• Basic programming skills in PHP, Python, or Java.

• Solid understanding of relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MSSQL.

• Experience working in a continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) development environment.

• Knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.

• Familiarity with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and/or Test-Driven Development (TDD) is a plus.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently or collaboratively.
