Pilgrim’s is launching a LaFayette, Georgia startup facility and seeks a Quality Assurance Manager to lead FSQA programs, drive food safety, and build a culture of quality and operational excellence. You will partner with corporate and plant leadership to establish standards, train teams, and ensure regulatory readiness.

The role requires strong leadership, USDA/OSHA understanding, and hands-on ability to implement corrective actions, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives in a

Competenze

• Bachelor of Science in Food Science or five years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination.
• GFSI (BRC) training preferred.
• Supervisory experience with poultry processing or slaughter operations; understanding of USDA and OSHA regulations.
• Strong written and verbal communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more and willingness to work in production environments.

Mansioni

• Lead and manage food safety and quality programs to ensure production standards and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and implement procedures and training aligned with FSQA policies, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Use statistical analysis and budgeting techniques to drive continuous improvement and cost reduction in quality operations.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to resolve customer complaints and maintain relationships.
• Oversee audits and inspections from customers, third parties, and regulatory agencies.
• Coach and develop FSQA team members, fostering accountability, safety, and quality.
