Job summary

Dal-Tile Distribution, Inc. is seeking a Tosca QA Automation Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-wide automation frameworks and QA solutions.

You will partner with QA, Development, DevOps, and business teams to improve software quality, testing efficiency, and release reliability across enterprise apps and platforms. You will design scalable automation, mentor engineers, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines while aligning with Agile and DevOps

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in a related field.
• 7+ years of QA and test automation experience.
• 3+ years in automation architecture or technical leadership.
• Experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Tosca, or UFT.
• Strong programming/scripting in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
• Experience with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
• Strong understanding of Agile and DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable automated testing frameworks and reusable components.
• Define automation standards, best practices, and testing strategies across QA teams.
• Lead automation initiatives for functional, regression, integration, and API testing.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes.

• Mentor QA automation engineers and provide technical leadership.
• Analyze automation metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Participate in architecture reviews, release planning, and environment strategy discussions.

The TOSCA QA AUTOMATION ARCHITECT is responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-wide automation frameworks and quality engineering solutions. This role partners with QA, Development, DevOps, and business teams to improve software quality, test efficiency, and release reliability across enterprise applications and platforms.

• This role does NOT provide current or future sponsorship assistance

• Employees are required to report in office 4 days a week / 7834 CF Hawn Freeway | Dallas, Texas 75217 (NO NEGOTIATION)

Duties and Responsibilities of the Position:

Required Experience and Education:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred

• 7+ years of QA and test automation experience

• 3+ years in an automation architecture or technical leadership role

• Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Tosca, or UFT

• Strong programming/scripting experience in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions

• Strong understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies

• Experience with Jira or other test and defect management tools

Preferred Skills

• AP testing experience

• API automation experience

• Cloud platform knowledge (AWS or Azure)
