Job summary

Xyant Services in San Jose is seeking a hands-on QA Engineer to advance testing across web applications. You will design and execute test cases, work with SQL databases, and apply automated testing tools to improve quality.

You will collaborate with offshore teams, participate in SDLC/STLC, and help implement QA best practices. The role is on-site in San Jose, offering growth and exposure to CRM platforms like Salesforce and marketing automation tools.

Qualifications

• Experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance for web applications.
• Strong knowledge of SQL queries and relational databases.
• Experience in developing and executing test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures.
• Hands-on experience with functional, regression, smoke, sanity, system, unit and performance testing.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC and testing methodologies.
• Knowledge of multi-tier web architecture and deployment processes.
• Experience implementing QA best practices, processes and test automation.
• Experience collaborating with offshore teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience with JIRA and automation tools such as Selenium or QTP.
• Experience with CRM and marketing automation tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo, Eloqua, Adobe Campaign) and with Web Services and XML Schema Validation.
