Job description
Overview

As a QA Lead/Manager – Healthcare Claims & Membership, you will make an impact by leading quality assurance efforts for healthcare claims and membership applications, ensuring robust testing strategies and team collaboration. You will be a valued member of the Quality Engineering team and work closely with developers, product owners, and business analysts to deliver high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and execution of comprehensive end-to-end test plans and test cases for healthcare claims and membership applications
  • Oversee automation testing of backend services, APIs, and data flows
  • Validate API endpoints using Swagger and Postman, ensuring accurate request/response formats and business logic
  • Guide the execution of TOSCA scripts to validate application functionality
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure complete test coverage and requirement alignment
  • Manage defect tracking using Jira and maintain test documentation in Confluence
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and drive continuous improvement of QA processes

What you need to have to be considered
  • 8+ years of experience in the healthcare domain with end-to-end testing
  • Strong proficiency in testing methodologies and QA best practices
  • Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Swagger and Postman
  • Proficiency in Jira and Confluence for defect tracking and documentation
  • Experience in healthcare membership or claims domain
  • Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Proven ability to lead QA efforts and mentor team members

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration

Salary and Other Compensation

Applications will be accepted until October 10th, 2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $96,000 to $112,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
