Job summary

RESPEC is hiring an experienced Quality Assurance / Test / O&M Specialist to support Sandia National Laboratories' enterprise systems in Albuquerque, NM. The role leads QA initiatives across PLM/ALM tools, ensures security compliance, and manages end-to-end testing for complex engineering IT environments.

The candidate will design test frameworks, coordinate cross-functional testing, and oversee CI/CD pipelines while maintaining operational readiness in a strict regulatory setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Information Systems, or Engineering.
• 5–10 years (Senior) or 10–15 years (Principal) in QA, test automation, or IT O&M management.
• DOE/DoD or federal enterprise IT experience with formal compliance testing and controlled release management.
• Experience with Windchill or CodeBeamer, and ALM/DevOps tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, Jenkins).
• Proficiency with Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, and scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
• Strong communication and ability to present technical findings to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Establish test plans, validation protocols, and QA frameworks for upgrades.
• Coordinate functional, performance, and regression testing across releases.
• Oversee O&M readiness, deployment checklists, cutover, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure interfaces and data transfers meet security and operational guidelines.
• Support PLM upgrades and testing, including pre-release validation and UAT coordination.
• Diagnose issues, validate fixes with development teams, and document results.
• Monitor performance and optimize testing processes for efficiency.
• Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure to improve CI/CD.
• Participate in change control boards and configuration management activities.
• Maintain knowledge of testing tools and industry best practices.
